This frame is designed for the 1817 and onwards variations of the British Half-Sovereign (19.3 – 19.4 mm) starting from the reign of William IV all the way through to the yearly Half-Sovereign of 2021. All of the coins are famously tightly specified to four decimal places including artwork such as Benedetto Pistrucci’s depiction of St George and the dragon.
This portrait frame uses PocketFoam™ technology which perfectly fits the single coin into its own slot. We have engineered the slot with a slight inner offset for the perfect snug fit.
This frame is not for the use of the larger Sovereign coins, but we can produce it on request. Please use the contact form for any enquiries.
